Can I See How Many Views My Google Posts Get?

Yes — Google Business Profile now shows a view count on every post you publish, covering roughly the last 18 months across Search and Maps combined. It's built directly into the dashboard, not a separate report you have to request.

What the new reporting actually tracks

The view count sits on every post card and covers a rolling 18-month window, across every post type — regular updates, offers, and events. Views are aggregated from customers discovering the post on both Google Search and Google Maps into a single combined number, rather than split out by platform.

Where to find it

1. Sign in. Log into your Google Business Profile.
2. Open Posts. Select Posts from the dashboard menu.
3. Check the card. The view count is shown directly on each post's card — no separate report to run.

What this doesn't do yet

Post view counts aren't currently available through the Business Profile API, so there's no way to pull this into a spreadsheet, a client dashboard, or an automated report — checking the dashboard directly is the only way to see it right now. Google hasn't published a timeline for changing that, so treat this as a manual check for the time being, not something to build automation around yet.
